Today's trivia on KOIT:

Q: What percentage of workers have either planned or have been the target of an April Fool's prank?

A: about thirty percent.

Let's stay on the April Fools topic for just a sec. Our favorite pranks are the ones that take some planning, don't make someone look stupid, don't hurt anyone,  and are fun for everyone.  Here are a couple of my faves. At one workplace, they placed a pair of pants and shoes inside the only toilet stall in a men's room to make it seem as if  some guy was using the commode . The getup sat there for hours until someone called security to check if the person had died. Needless to say there were a few, um, uncomfortable men that day.

Here's another one. At one office, all the women individually spoke to the president, confiding that she just found out that she's pregnant. By noon, the boss 'knew' that all of his female workers were pregnant and he could not tell anyone because each asked for confidentially.

Locally, don't forget the "30st" Annual Saint Stupid's Day" parade in San Francisco. The First Church of the Last Laugh is the proud sponsor of the event that starts noonish at Justin Herman Plaza. Festivities will include a Sock Exchange, so bring some spares. Also a penny toss. After all this time you'd think that Penny would want to put an end to all this nonsense. Have fun.
