This morning's trivia on KOIT, on national Hot Dog Day:

Q: How many bites does it take to consume the average hot dog?

A: about 6.   6.1 to be precise. Though San Jose's Joey Chestnut my take issue with that number.

Here's a pic (from AP) showing the shoe tree we talked about this morning on the KOIT morning show.The tree's been a tourist attraction in northern Idaho since the '40s.  Sadly, the tree burned down recently.
