Happy Cinco de Mayo. Party time!
You bring the salt, I'll bring the lime. Sorry, no tequila. I have to get up early tomorrow. Maybe Friday nite. No, wait. I have to be up at 5:30 to set up the kid's swim meet on Saturday morning. Maybe next year.
This morning's trivia on KOIT:
Q: What year was the first Cinco de Mayo celebrated in the US?
A: 1967. Students at Cal State used the occasion to highlight the need for Hispanic studies at the University.
Still shaking my head over Kim getting a "headlight" ticket last Friday. She was driving Jordan to school, and was pulled over for not having her headlights on. It was 8am, not raining in Hooterville, so there was plenty of light, yet she was still tagged, making Jordan late for his school's STAR testing. I'm totally in line with the new law requiring headlight use with wipers. But it wasn't raining. No wipers in use, so you'd think that the lights were'nt neccessary, right? She'll fight it. I'll let you know how it turns out.
