The Waterfront restaurant – a floating eatery tied to a mooring on the Ohio River in Covington, Kentucky – is now officially underwater.
The restaurant’s owner thinks that when it was hit by a barge two weeks ago, that was the final straw.
The restaurant has come loose twice in its history – once with about 200 customers aboard, and then again with a repair worker aboard.
Both times, it traveled down river a bit before coming to a stop.
The owner says he’s had enough. He will reopen, but this time, on dry land.
