This morning's trivia on KOIT:

Q:  On this date in 1913, Godeon Sundbach of Hoboken, NJ received a patent for....

A: The zipper.

No, not THAT one.

THIS one:

...though BOTH are problematic when they break or get stuck.

Got a dime? Well then, you'll be able to eat well at Fior d'Italia in North Beach tomorrow. America's oldest Italian restaurant is celebrating 125 years in business by bringing back the menu and prices from 1886. Yup, linguine and meatballs for ten cents. Eggplant Parmigiana for 20 cents. If you really want to live large, you could blow 30 cents on roast sirloin.

Don't be fooled by the date at the top of the menu. The event takes place Fri April 30th. Nah. Shouldn't be TOO crowded.  The 1886 prices will be in effect tomorrow from 11a-4p.  Sounds like a fun time. But please, take care of your server with 2010 money. They'll be very busy for about 5 hours tomorrow.
