A parental conundrum.......
Should you snoop around your kids' emails and text messages? I say it's a parent's job to keep their children safe. So, up to a certain age, it's OK to look. The debate is raging at one of our favorite websites that deals with kids and media. It's called Common Sense Media, and it's the place where parents and kids can write reviews of movies, TV shows, and books.
So to our sons Andrew & Jordan: Mom and I don't snoop.....much.

After all these years living in the Bay Area, I never realized there was a Bay Area Tarantula Society. Yup, and they're having their annual convention Saturday at the Concord Veteran's Hall. Arachnophiles will be able to trade, sell and buy. I won't be going, though I think those critters are pretty cool. Snakes, on the other hand........
To kick off bay Area Dance Week, they're going to try to create the worlds largest gonga line at Union Square in SF at noon today. Don't even TRY to explain it to a tourist.
