Happy St. Pats!

This morning's trivia on KOIT:

Q:  Corned beef & cabbage is what most American's think is traditional Irish fare. But a truly traditional meal would be.....

A:.....bacon or ham and cabbage. Oh, and getting hammered on St. Patrick's day isn't traditional either.  Many years ago, St. Patrick's day in Ireland was considered a holy day and all pubs were closed.

Still trying to get used to the time change last weekend. Not so much the fact that it's staying light longer in the evening, but I can't get used to the later sunrise. It was a strange sight this AM on the Bay Bridge. The lights were out, and they can't figure out why. They went out at 5:45, and it's the second time this month. Power at the toll plaza stayed on, though.
