She's got all her ducks in a row.......
This morning's trivia on KOIT:
Q: Seattle's Charlotte Lee now holds the Guinness World Record for the largest collection of.....
A:...rubber duckies....5,239 of 'em. She keeps them in the basement. The woman who has only 5,238 must be devastated. I would be.
Trivia again tomorrow, and every morning at 6:20. Tuesday's prize? Tix to American Idol Live in August at the Shoreline, and tickets for the San Francisco Zoo.
How many movies in the box office top three from this past weekend do I want to see? Exactly, um, none. Iron Man 2, Robin Hood, Letters to Juliet. Wanna see a great movie? Catch Andy Garcia and Julianna Margulies in City Island.
Illegal parking along the beaches of Western Marin County becomes more of a problem every year. In Stinson Beach, Bolinas, and Muir Beach it's become such a serious problem, especially during summer weekends, that the locals are downright scared. Driveways, fire lanes, even roads are getting blocked by scofflaw beach goers. The Stinson fire chief says that they'd lose some houses if the trend of blocked access continues. The Marin Board of Supes will vote on Tuesday to raise the parking fines there from $63 to $99. As I said on KOIT this morning, why not just raise it to an even c-note, and call it a day?
