A: about 18 months before it's pulled and destroyed. It costs about 4 cents to print a dollar bill, and about 16 and a half million are printed each day.
Just in case you missed it this morning on KOIT: The Marin Humane Society has about 80 rescued hens ready for adoption. Only five bucks apiece! You just need to make sure you live in an area zoned for this type of critter. They're all about a year and half old, and each (EACH!) will lay about 250 eggs a year. Get in touch with the Marin Humane Society in Novato for info. I'm going to stop off on my way home from work. Just to look, mind you.
