Hello everyone. I'm back on track this week after some minor obstacles last week with eating habits. The Jumpstart counselors always tell me "one day at a time." It's true. I've lost another pound at the last wigh-in. I'm now 7 lbs. shy of my initial weight loss goal of 20 lbs. I'm definitely gettinging into the Spring vibe with the wight loss. Definitely give the knowledgeable crew at Jumpstart MD a call and see what I mean. Plus you get to enjoy REAL food -- not fake or processed stuff. That makes a big difference for the taste buds.
Spring is definitely in the air. Things are still going well for me at Jumpstart MD. I didn't lose any lbs. on my last weigh in but the counselors helped me stay motivated throughout my visit. These things happen and it will only push me to try harder. I'm hoping to increase my physical activity to help. More walking breaks are definitely on my agenda this week. I'm still down 12 lbs and feel great.
You can feel great, too. Make Spring more enjoyable. Summer will be here sooner than you know it. That means getting back into your favorite warm weather or beach outfit. Hello everyone. The weekend is always a challenge for me because of a little extra free time with relaxing, catching up on TV shows, etc. Luckily I have some healthier snack options -- in case I'm looking for a nosh while catching up on my DVR'd shows. No reason to get bored with the food choices at Jumpstart MD. Their experts have come up with some tasty recipes to keep you satisfied... and still shed those pounds. I'm gonna try their Frittata with Artichokes recipe and see how it tastes. It looks yummy. I'm feeling great and have good energy levels. Take the next step to shedding the pounds today. You can do it! Log on to www.JumpstartMD.com
Week 6 was great at Jumpstart MD. I had my visit. Lost another lb. Feeling great. Energy levels are sustained. The Jumpstart MD staff gave me a few snack tips -- specifically for weekends, when I'm watching TV. I've noticed my pants are a little looser now -- which is good! Time to buy a new belt :-) I've started cooking some meals ahead of time (like chicken and veggies). This way I can pack easily for lunch at work.

The staff is amazing and will work closely with you to achieve your goals. They work will REAL food, too.
I went for my appointment last week. I'm down another 2.5 lbs. The Jumpstart MD specialists also did a new body mass index on me. So far so good. I'm shedding the weight a comfortable pace. We discussed snacking and recipe options. I'm trying to come up with other meal recipes so I don't get tired of eating the same thing. My pants a a little baggy now... which is a step in the right direction. Learn more at www.jumpstartmd.com. It works! :-)
Hello everyone :-) I'm feelin' great on my improved eating routine. It's still a challenge somedays (I have a sweet tooth). I am really diggin' the protein bars the crew at Jumpstart MD carries. I'm currently enjoying the coconut/cashew flavor. It's fun to compare flavors and swap bars with my fellow JumpStart mates. I got Analisa liking the cononut cashew flavor. She shared a lemon protein bar -- which was tasty. They're packed with protein and fiber which gives me that "full" feeling when craving a sweet snack. Getting ready for my next weigh in this week. I did notice I've taken up a belt notch. That hasn't happened for me in a while.
First week went off to a rocky start as I was getting used to the new eating regimen but I seem to be adapting. I lost 4 lbs :-) I went for my first weigh in this week and discussed snacking options and progress with the nurse. She was veryhelpful. One day at a time. I bought some of the protein bars. They are very tasty.

It's the yin and yang of life...You can't live with it, you can't live without it. If it's not Siri responding to my questions on my phone, it's my desktop that died (rip) last Friday! Argh....how did we become so dependant on technology?
What's a 2011 woman to do? I grin and bear it...I call, I get referred to another number. I grimace. I call...I feel so out of step when I can't fix the problem...Perhaps I should be dating an IT guy!
What a morning! Getting pulled in 10 different directions, none of which I need to focus on! I wanted to do my 38 minute walk with Oliver, then ride my colt and practice what I learned in my impromptu lesson from Wednesday then have lunch with a friend....WRONG!
My desktop computer went out the other day from a power surge and wouldn't boot up...so I called my Computer fix it guy - Ray Hosseinzadeh - he thought it was my motherboard...but he's going out of town over the weekend, won't be back until Monday...geez...I've got projects on my hard drive that I didn't back up, so...I toss my plans out the window, grab my purse and head down to Santa Clara from San Ramon... an hour and a half later, I'm back in business...(really, if you need a quick fix and you are not handy with computers Ray can fix it for a really great price)
Anyway I was back on the road and headed home just in time to take a shower and come into KOIT!
Now that I'm here, I can relax and breathe and focus on YOU!
A far too crazy stress filled world we live in...even me!
