Eleven-year-old Zack Francom is a philanthropist.  He might not be able to pronounce the word very well, but he is showing one person of any age can make a difference.

Zack has been selling cookies and lemonade at his annual Zack's Shack since 2010 to buy wheelchairs for people in developing countries. His family and hometown of Provo, Utah has rallied behind Zack and helped him raise enough money to provide more than 300 wheelchairs to people in need.

When you buy from a local artist, you're buying a piece of their heart.

I love this.  Support local artists and their craft.
And what wonderful memories are created from the adventure of picking out an item that strikes the buyer, as much as it struck the person who created it.

This is for the unsung heros everywhere.  Those people doing little things here and there to make the world a better place.

You'll see at the end this video is actually a commercial, but it doesn't take away from the message.  I hope you enjoy it as much I did!

Rear-ended at a stoplight!
Luckily, this was the only damage I sustained, but it never feels good to have someone hit your new car. Especially when that person was being an idiot by not paying attention to stopped traffic at a light.

PLEASE be careful driving and focus on everything around you. Was he on the phone? I don't know, because I was looking ahead to be ready when the light changed, not behind me.  I do know that with everything going on in my life, this is the least of my problems, so I'm not going to stress.

Oh yeah, in case anyone is concerned, I'm ok.  That's a positive.

I love music, you love music, and apparently Bailey the Golden Retriever does too!  It really looks like she's nodding her head right along with the guitar.

For some reason, 80's songs seem to pick up my speed when they pop up on my ipod.  What are some of your favorite work out songs.  This song inspired me for my morning run!

This little boy has just made a huge discovery: his eyebrows!  His mom is holding him in front of a mirror, and each time he raises and lowers them, he cracks up. It will probably put a smile on your face too.

Peaches are in season at the Farmer's Market and they are amazing!  Here's a great peach and arugula salad that will  turn your bacon lover into a salad eater!

Ingredients:
1 Tablespoon of balsamic vinegar
2 teaspoons fresh lemon juice
1/4 teaspoon sea salt
3 tablespoons of extra virgin olive oil
3 firm ripe peaches
18 thin slices of pancetta
2 Tablespoons of olive oil
10 ounces of Baby Arugula
2 ounces of crumbled Feta Cheese

Dressing:
Whisk vinegar, lemon juice and salt and add olive oil in a stream and continue whisking until emulsified.

Peaches:
Taking the skin off the peaches is super easy and kids love to do it!  Boil some water and mark an X on the bottom of the peach with a knife.
Drop in the boiling water for only 15 seconds and then transfer to a bowl of ice water.
Peel the peaches and cut into 6 sections each.
Wrap the peaches with pancetta.
Heat a skillet with 2 tablespoons of olive oil on moderate heat, then cook the peaches (in 2 batches if necessary)
Turn them over occasionally until pancetta is   browned on all sides.
Divide arugula and peaches  among 6 plates, drizzle with dressing, sprinkle with feta cheese, a pinch of freshly ground pepper and serve!

Bon Appetit!
